Kim Kardashian: Hollywood turns to TV to attract new players to $200m mobile app

Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, the mobile app from reality star Kim Kardashian-West which is worth $200m, has taken to TV screens for the first time to target potential players.

Kardashian-West revealed the TV advert, which she stars in, to her Twitter followers yesterday (Saturday 9 May).

In the advert she's seen coaching one of her users through the trials and tribulations of stardom. The 30-second spot has been in the pipelines for some time with Kardashian-West hinting at the commercial back in March.

Kim Kardashian: Hollywood was released with developers Glu Mobile in June 2014, raking in $74.3m by the end of 2014 and a further $21.3m in Q1 2015.

Katy Perry and Britney Spears have both since partnered with Glu Mobile for their own mobile games.
