Havas Media Group has appointed Christophe Cases as chief executive for Greater China as part of a wider reorganisation of its Asia Pacific operations.

This will see the creation of an autonomous Greater China cluster of businesses supervised by the global team as part of efforts to prioritise key markets. The Asia Pacific region will continue to be run by the existing management team headed up by Vishnu Mohan as a result of these changes.

Cases will be responsible for overseeing operations in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, adopting the collaborative ‘Havas Village’ business model that unifies creative, media and other services to enable clients to run integrated communications strategies.

Commenting on his appointment Cases said: “Its integrated proposition combining creative, media, data, content, and range of digital specialties is getting a lot of attention from stakeholders in the industry. I look forward to leveraging this energy and the group’s vision to accelerate its growth and expansion in one of the world’s largest and most exciting economies.”

Cases has spent more than two decades in management consulting with firms such as Accenture, Capgemini, and Ernst & Young.

He will be based in Singapore, reporting directly to Havas Media Group’s global managing director Dominique Delport.
