Wisconsin-based Johnsonville Sausage has launched four new spots to promote its variety of sausages as grilling season approaches.

The ads, created by agency Droga5 and titled ‘Family Favor’, ‘Stay at Home Son', ‘Grandma’ and ‘Misunderstood’, aim to show viewers the different – and bizarre – ways that Johnsonville sausages can bring families and friends together.

Each spot ends with the tagline, “We don’t make sausage. We make family. And sausage.” The commercials will run on television and online.

Previously, Cramer-Krasselt's Milwaukee office handled creative for the company.

Throughout 2015, the sausage maker plans to roll out additional work for the campaign including an app called the ‘Brat Signal’ and a new Father’s Day tradition called ‘Bratfast in Bed’ that encourages families to serve dads a brat and brew for breakfast.
