It's a girl! The The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to a girl at 08:34am this morning, and while the news came quicker than many expected, that didn't stop brands from attempting to seize the moment on social media.
And in a sign of the times, the announcement of the royal princess's birth was announced on the official Kensington Palace Twitter account.
