BetVictor has created the TweetRumble social media battle platform in anticipation of much-awaited boxing bout Pacquiao vs Mayweather on 2 May in Las Vegas.
The campaign, created in partnership with VCCP, uses Twitter Stream API to count tweets supporting either the #TheMoneyTeam or #TeamPacquiao in real time. The figures are then broadcast to those visiting the web portal.
Users can watch their tweets pack a punch, each served a custom animation powered by their tweet. Additionally, the website shows which celebrities are putting their weight behind which fighter and the latest BetVictor odds.
Anton Bell, chief marketing officer of BetVictor said: “Everyone has an opinion on this fight, our customers included.
“The 'fight before the fight' is a great opportunity to put our social teams to work engaging with boxing fans and bettors alike.”
