HBO acquires Vimeo show, ‘High Maintenance’
HBO has acquired a show that was previously only available on Vimeo.
The show, ‘High Maintenance’ was originally created by Ben Sinclair and Katja Blichfield, and has seen two seasons so far.
“We’re very excited for Ben and Katja and proud to have launched 'High Maintenance' as Vimeo’s first original series,” said Vimeo chief executive, Kerry Trainor. For HBO to pick up the next season is a testament to this incredible show and we look forward to continuing to support it.”
The acquisition further blurs the lines between traditional television programming and online entertainment.
