Verizon has launched a new cable package that would allow users more freedom when it comes to what channels to which they do and don’t subscribe monthly.

With the “Custom TV” packages, users can choose which bundles of programming they’d like to receive each month.

The program is aimed at consumers who are looking for a programming option that falls in between traditional pricey cable and satellite packages, and minimal “skinny” packages offered by other providers.

"Everybody is getting into the video space... increasingly customers are saying, 'I want to pay for what I view,'" Tami Erwin, the president of Verizon's national operations told Reuters.

Custom TV packages start at $65 monthly.
