ESPN reporter suspended after insulting parking lot employee

ESPN has suspended reporter Britt McHenry for one week after she was shown in a video making disparaging remarks toward a parking lot attendant, a verbal assault that came after her car was towed earlier this month.

In the video, posted by LiveLeak, McHenry is shown telling the woman to "lose some weight, baby girl."

She also asks the woman "Do you feel good about your job?" before insulting the worker’s teeth and intelligence.

McHenry tweeted an apology on 16 April regarding the incident:
