Tumblr simplifies mobile blogging by launching 4.0 version on iOS
Tumblr has launched its 4.0 version on iOS devices with features that were previously only available on desktops.
The update, which includes a new icon, allows users to do more actual blogging from their devices by making the creation of new blogs more seamless. In addition, users can now see what’s trending on their ‘Today’ screens.
Some of the updates had already been available on Android devices. These allow users to filter their searches by media type.
In addition, the app has made it easier for users to post Youtube or Vimeo videos to their blogs.
