Transport for London has launched a hard-hitting campaign against sexual harassment adopting a ‘Report it to stop it’ punchline to weed out inacceptable behaviour on the network.

To back up its message the body has released a video depicting a man travelling on the tube who targets a fellow female passenger on the crowded carriage by surreptitiously groping her whilst other passengers remain oblivious.

Attempting to get away the situation then escalates further with the man pressing himself against the women as she attempts to get away.

Throughout this sequence of events audiences are invited to indicate at what point they would report the inappropriate behaviour to transport staff, raising awareness of the fact that despite 10 per cent of passengers experiencing sexual harassment on the tube only one in ten would report it.
