Digital agency AD acquires Fluid Creativity in UK growth drive

Strategic digital agency AD has announced the acquisition of Manchester-based digital marketing firm Fluid Creativity.

The expansion comes soon after the launch of AD’s first US branch: We Are AD Inc. following the successful win of US client Salt Lake Center for the Arts. AD now has three offices across the UK based in Glasgow, London and Manchester.

AD’s growth strategy will see the agency build on this continued expansion, investing in companies across the UK that have synergy with AD’s offering and mission to create cutting-edge digital campaigns and solutions.

Established in 2001, Fluid Creativity was one of Manchester’s first website design agencies and has worked with a range of top clients over the years, including Panasonic, American Soda and Manchester University.

David Johnstone, commercial director at AD and Fluid Creativity, said: “AD had originally intended to open a Manchester office by Q3 of 2015, so this acquisition has allowed us to accelerate our growth plans. We’ve had our sights set on Manchester for a while now and are really excited to be part of the vibrant community there. We’ll be investing in growing the team over the coming months and furthering the qualifications and skill-sets of existing employees.

“Fluid Creativity has developed a great track record in Magento web development in the past five years and we’ll be helping the Manchester team reach certified developer status and certified solution specialist in the coming months.”

AD’s client base includes EDF Energy Group, University of Southampton, The Young Vic, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Benromach and the BBC.
