Former Kantar MD Barry Lemmon joins Shopitize to run UK office
Barry Lemmon has joined mobile marketing agency Shopitize to lead its UK office as managing director.
Lemmon has spent the past seven years at market research company TNS as global head of retail and shopper. Prior to that he was UK managing director of Kantar Worldpanel.
Lemmon will lead Shopitize’s UK operation and serve as a key member of the global management team during the company’s expansion into the US and Australia over the coming year.
“He has a track record of driving profitable growth from both new and existing businesses, and his appointment will help to support us as we continue to explore and expand our revenue streams,” said Carl Engelmarc, Shopitize general manager.
"His expertise will help us to better serve our customers by shaping our offering and value proposition, providing a stronger delivery capability anchored in local customer needs.”
His appointment is effective immediately.
