'I'm Running for President' states Hillary Clinton in YouTube video revealing US election hopes
Hillary Clinton has announced her intention to run for the American Presidency by Twitter and releasing a YouTube video and campaign website.
Rather than the usual grand ceremony that candidates usually hold to make their bid announcements, Clinton has made her formal intention to become Obama's successor through an online film, which she tweeted out.
I'm running for president. Everyday Americans need a champion, and I want to be that champion. –H https://t.co/w8Hoe1pbtC

This account will be run by campaign staff from now on—but you’ll still see tweets from Hillary. They’ll be signed “-H.”

The video features Americans of all ages and backgrounds discussing their plans for the imminent future, before Clinton offers her own intentions for the Oval Office.
The video, entitled "Getting Started" was posted on Sunday afternoon (12 April) amid speculation that Clinton would use a digital first strategy to drive her campaign launch.
