Coral teams with Mystic Meg for Grand National campaign

Coral has partnered with psychic astrologer Mystic Meg to be the face of the book maker's Grand National marketing campaign.

For the 'You're Guaranteed a Fortune Campaign' images of Mystic Meg and her crystal ball will feature in all of Coral’s 1,850 shops via window posters and Coral TV.

This will be supported by an ongoing partnership with the Daily Mail online and Telegraph online, and images of Mystic Meg will feature heavily across the news website's home pages on Saturday 11 April, the final day of the Grand National.

Simon Clare, PR and broadcast director said of the new campaign: “This is an iconic partnership with the nation’s favourite horse race and its favourite astrologer joining forces. We know that Mystic Meg is a face our punters can identify with and she also knows her horses as a keen racing fan and racehorse owner/breeder."

Coral is hoping the campaign will help to cut through the book-making competition noise - with over £100m expected to be bet by British punters on the race this year.
