Mexico Tourism and Lapiz of Leo Burnett took full advantage of the spring snow blankets which have surprised much of the US northeast over the past week. The partnership took to the streets of Chicago to create billboards out of the show.

The billboards, developed with street artist Nose Lanariz, boasted slogans like ‘Take your clothes off,’ and ‘Come under the sun,’ and reminded Chicagoans that the weather in Mexico is far friendlier. Each piece directed consumers toward the Mexico Tourism website.

Temperatures in Chicago have picked up however, meaning that if the boards haven’t already melted away, they will soon.
