VCCP snares Ogilvy’s creative technologist Harvey for newly created innovation role

VCCP has poached Ogilvy’s creative technologist Will Harvey for its newly created innovation lead role as it looks to secure additional budget for its more disruptive ideas.

Harvey is responsible for updating the agency’s account teams on innovation in marketing that will see him research and champion emerging tech and digital trends.

He will work across the agency’s full-service roster.

Harvey joins from Ogilvy Labs where he spent four years working on a range of brands such as British Airways and IBM.

Andrew Peake, managing director of VCCP, said: “At VCCP, we have an ongoing commitment to ensuring digital runs through everything we do. The decision to create an Innovation Lead reflects this commitment, and will help us to make sure we are at the forefront of all the exciting developments in the world of tech and digital.”
