UKTV celebrates drama offering with 6ft chocolate version of Benedict Cumberbatch
British broadcaster UKTV has created a life-size chocolate version of actor Benedict Cumberbatch to market the launch of drama content launching on its on-demand service.

Cumberbatch, best known for play Sherlock Holmes in the BBC series, was named in a recent poll as Britain’s “dishiest” TV drama actor.
“With Drama launching on UKTV Play this Easter, it was the perfect opportunity to pay homage to the fantastic talent we have on the channel, including of course, Benedict Cumberbatch. Hopefully he’ll make it through Easter weekend in one piece,” said Adrian Wills, general manager of UKTV Drama.
Creating the chocolate Cumberbatch took over a year in total, with a base model painstakingly sculpted before the final model was cast entirely out of Belgian milk chocolate. After it had set the team set about carving his features.
The 40kg sculpture will be at Westfield Stratford City on Friday 3 April with visitors being encouraged to share pictures using the #chocobatch hashtag.
DON'T lie!! We all know what piece of #chocobatch we would like to 'eat' first. :P
