The New York Times has revealed plans to prepare concise content to fit the Apple Watch’s display.

The publication is set to curate one-sentence stories to fit the small dimensions of Apple’s soon-to-launch smartwatch.

The at-a-glance summaries will cover news across the business, politics, science, tech and the arts sections.

The news stories will be accompanied by images and readers will be capable of bookmarking stories to read on their iPad or iPhones using the ‘Save for Later’ feature.

The Watch app will function as an extension of the Apple Watch app on the iPhone and will be free to users.

It will launch along with the Apple Watch internationally on 24 April.
