Non-profit Tie The Knot has announced a campaign called ‘Supreme Save the Date’ that gives same-sex couples the opportunity to customize and send an actual save the date card to a Supreme Court Justice of their choice.

The initiative comes ahead of The Supreme Court’s upcoming marriage equality decision set for later this year.

In an effort to create awareness and action for marriage equality, the campaign aims to bring attention to the 14 states that still do not have marriage equality and show The Justices just how many couples are still waiting to get married.

Later this spring, the ‘Save The Date Builder’ will officially launch. The work was created by The Martin Agency.

Tie the Knot supports marriage equality through the sale of bow ties and was founded by ‘Modern Family’ star Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband Justin Mikita.
