HTC has lost its second design head in a year after the departure of Jonah Becker.

Becker, who had worked at HTC for six years, took over the role in April 2014 after the previous head of design Scott Croyle left the business.

Becker led the design of the brand's flagship One M9 smartphone.

“It’s been an amazing seventeen year journey with One & Co and HTC, but it’s time for a new adventure,” Becker said on Twitter. “Stay tuned for details of what’s next.”

Becker's departure comes amid a management shake-up at the struggling Taiwanese company, which last week named HTC co-founder and and chairman Cher Wang as CEO.

Daniel Hundt, HTC’s creative director, has taken over Becker’s role.
