Smartwatches to flop according to The Drum’s Ad Week Europe Piccadilly Circus poll
The results are in and it’s bad news for smartwatches as a resounding 76 per cent of you thought that having a smartwatch would make no positive difference to your life.
According to the results of Wednesday’s Advertising Week Europe poll from London’s Piccadilly Circus digital screens, just 24 per cent of The Drum readers are in favour of the devices.

@TheDrum #WedNo. Gadgets should fulfil initial function & everything else is a bonus. Got no need for a watch, so no need for a smart watch. — Molly (@MollyDenmark) March 25, 2015
.@TheDrum #WedNo haven't worn watch since getting first Nokia 15yrs ago. Today, a smartwatch still doesn't do anything my smartphone can't

.@TheDrum #WedYes My @Pebble is great. Wasn't sure before I got it, but now can't take it off — Matthew Lawrence (@mattjlawrence) March 25, 2015
#WedYes I can't wait to get my hands on one! Better than taking my phone out on a run!
