Mecca Bingo appoints St Luke's to £4m advertising account

Mecca Bingo has awarded its £4m advertising account to St Luke’s following a competitive pitch handled by the AAR.

Part of the Rank Group, Mecca Bingo offers a wide range of games including bingo and slots.

Paul Meadows, head of brand at Mecca Bingo, said of the appointment: “We have big ambitions for our multi-channel business, so St Luke’s combination of brand thinking with digital and retail understanding made them a compelling choice.”

St Luke’s chief executive, Neil Henderson, added: “In a world of competitive bingo brands Mecca stands out for its authenticity and heritage.”

Work on the account will begin immediately, with St Luke’s planning a spring 2015 campaign spanning TV and digital.
