Tinder finds a CEO match with former eBay executive Chris Payne
Tinder has ended its chief executive officer (CEO) search by swiping right on Chris Payne, formerly of eBay, to replace founding chief, Sean Rad, Re/code reported.
Payne left eBay late last year and has been working at Tinder since.
Previously, Payne had held posts at Amazon and MSN search.
At Tinder, he will handle the company’s day-to-day operations and, as planned, Rad will remain on the Tinder team as a board member and president.
The new changes come at a crucial point for the mobile matchmaking service, as it is on the verge of launching its first ad product, and premium feature, Tinder Plus.
