UK Top Shazamed Ads: Dreamworks' 'Home' takes top spot with 'Hate to Say I Told You So' by The Hives

'Hate To Say I Told You So' by The Hives takes the top spot in The Drum's Shazam chart this week.

The Swedish rock band's energetic track features in the TV spot for Dreamworks' latest movie 'Home'.

The animation, starring Rihanna, Jim Parsons and Jennifer Lopez, tells the story of an alien race who invade earth and make it their new home.

Lynx also enters the chart with this week with Welsh crooner Novo Amor's version of Guns N' Roses' classic 'Welcome to the Jungle'.

And 'My Type' by Saint Motel earns Now TV eighth place.

The feelgood hit appears in the Sky-owned brand's 'TV on Your Terms' campaign, to promote its no-contract entertainment package.

The charts are based on the number of times each ad has been Shazamed over the past week using music identification app Shazam.
