St Ives group has acquired Solstice Mobile, a Chicago-based consultancy.

The move is one of many taken by the marketing services agent to expand its digital abilities and its mobile interaction.

“This acquisition further strengthens St Ives’ reputation and capabilities in digital and firmly extends our digital capabilities into mobile,” said Matt Armitage, chief of St Ives Group. “Strategically, the deal supports the growth of the Group’s marketing services division, whilst expanding our presence and capabilities in the Americas.”

Solstice day-to-day operations will will stay the same, as its offices in New York, Chicago, and Buenos Aires will remain open, running under the same management teams.

“We are very excited to have found the perfect home for Solstice,” said J Schwan, chief of Solstice. “As mobile continues to affirm its role as the primary digital channel for consumers and employees, we are thrilled to have a platform to expand our services on a global level.”

Last year, St Ives completed the acquisition of digital marketing agency, Realise.
