American Broadcasting channel (ABC) News has launched a streaming channel on Roku and Roku TV, letting users access live streaming, and archival footage.
The move gives the almost 10 million users who have switched to the on-demand streaming device the opportunity to engage in ABC content.
“Today is another big step in putting our audience in control of how and when they get their news,” ABC said in a statement. “During breaking news and special events, Roku customers will have immediate access to multiple content streams, live 24/7.”
Late last month, the network extended its news app to be available on Apple TV. It is now available in more than 100 countries.
