Free video streaming service Tubi TV has struck a licensing agreement with Paramount Pictures to stream some of the studio’s feature films.

Tubi TV operates as an ad-supported video on demand (VOD) service.

Some of the films featured on Tubi TV include Top Gun, Star Trek: The Final Frontier, and Basic Instinct.

Farhad Massoudi, founder and chief executive (CEO) of Tubi TV’s parent company adRise, said: "We are bringing amazing films to what is already the largest catalog of free streaming TV shows and movies."

The company also has announced that Sandy Grushow, CEO of Phase 2 Media and former chairman of Fox TV, is joining its advisory board.
