Delta Airlines has named AKQA as its global digital agency of record following an account review.
AKQA has served as the mobile agency of record for Delta since 2010, a partnership that includes the creation of the Fly Delta suite of mobile applications and the redesign of Delta’s self-service airport kiosks, boarding passes, gate information displays and recently updated Wi-Fi portal, which includes access to Delta Studio streaming entertainment.
Of the appointment Ajaz Ahmed, chief executive officer of AKQA, commented: “Our partnership with Delta is a true collaboration, creating work that’s admired by the industry and loved by travellers worldwide.
“We are delighted to build on these strong foundations with new momentum to deliver the ultimate digital experience that will further extend Delta’s lead.”
The expanded role sees AKQA tasked with creating and managing digital experiences across Delta customer’s entire digital travel journey, including the flagship delta.com.
