The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) has worked with SomeOne to update its Coat of Arms.

“SomeOne has been behind the creation of a few high profile heraldic projects, from the Royal Opera House’s new branding to creating a contemporary shield for British Athletics — and so we were delighted to work on a new cut of they coat of arms for The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants” explained Simon Manchipp, co-founder of SomeOne.

With more than 227,000 members and students in 179 countries, the CIMA works at the heart of the business industry and constantly updates its qualifications, professional experience requirements and CPD programme to ensure its members and students are the first choice for employers.

CIMA global brand deployment manager, Leonardo Lema, commented: “Our Coat of Arms is unique to us and deserves to be crafted with the same care and attention we give to our core subject. The previous version was a compromise and did not work well in digital applications.

“We are delighted to have received such a beautifully crafted and well considered new Coat of Arms from the team at SomeOne — it is already serving us well.”

As the previous version of CIMA’s Coat of Arms was not fit for purpose digitally the updates version has been created with screen-based applications in mind to work alongside the existing CIMA wordmark.
