Buzzfeed seeks to diversify creative services team
Buzzfeed has taken a step toward further-diversifying its creative services team, according to a blogpost written earlier today.
The team, which creates the site’s branded content, is looking to revamp, in order to better-represent the Buzzfeed audience. Currently, the team is 85.3 per cent white, and 55.9 per cent female.
“The only way that we can authentically create shareable content for BuzzFeed’s audience --as it is a diverse audience -- is to have diversity of thought and life experience in our team,” read the blogpost.
Buzzfeed is also looking to further diversify its tech and editorial teams, it has revealed.
