Ad of the Day: Audi - The Drones
Audi’s latest commercial has an air of Alfred Hitchcock as birds become drones in this brilliant spot from Venables Bell & Partners.
The minute-long clip opens on an office building ominously surrounded by a horde of delivery drones.
As the drones descend, one man confidently strolls to his Audi, steps inside and asks Google Search to take him to Bodega Bay (a nod to Hitchcock’s 1963 classic ‘The Birds’).
Despite the drones being in hot pursuit, the driver remains calm with his Audi gadgets and gizmos provide a smooth getaway, proving after all “advanced technology doesn’t need to be intimidating”.
