SpotXchange has appointed Stefan Beckmann as managing director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
He will be responsible for recruiting a team for the US-based programmatic video advertising platform in Hamburg and Munich to drive adoption of its supply side platform and grow the business across the DACH region.
Beckmann brings with him 14 years of digital advertising experience having held posts at Spil Games, Scoyo and most recently Infectious Media, where he was country manager, DACH.
SpotXchange chief executive Mike Shehan said: “Stefan will bring regional knowledge and excellent programmatic advertising experience to the team, having launched the video advertising campaigns for brands such as Sony, Sky, Disney and Netflix."
The announcement follows the news that SpotXchange is to open a branch in Singapore and launch a joint venture with RTL Group in the Benelux region.
