Geico has released a series of short digital advertisements, targeted toward online viewers who skip over ads within 15 seconds.

"It's a new construct centered around the insight of how annoying pre-roll ads are," a representative told The Drum. "We all want to click "skip" as soon as humanly possible, which means advertisers get cut off before they can even say anything."

The 15-second spots, created in Los Angeles by Whitehouse Post, each end with, “You can’t skip this Geico ad, because it’s already over.”

So far, 10 spots have been created, each a snippet of a longer commercial.
