Nestlé and Twitter have taken to Vine to offer socially-savvy web users the chance to win a paid ten week internship at either company.

Hopefuls are to submit a six second Vine to the online application form if they wish to gain experience at either Nestlé’s UK headquarters and Twitter’s UK head office.

Candidates, who must be currently studying for a media or business related degree, will have six seconds to pitch why they are the best person for the role. Vines should be tweeted using the hashtag ‘#6secondCV’.

Tom Banham, head of academy talent acquisition at Nestlé UK said: “I’m thrilled to announce our exciting new internship programme with Twitter. From the application process to the placement itself, this is a great opportunity for social media enthusiasts to increase their existing knowledge and improve their skills in this field.

“We’re looking for someone who can pitch their skills in six seconds and in the most creative way possible. Originality and brevity is what we’re after, which are of course essential skills for today’s social media.”

One slot will be made available to the Vine users, with a further 12 places ready for those who also submit online applications.
