Craft brewer Innis & Gunn has hired Frank PR following a competitive pitch ahead of a year-long push to establish itself in the category.

The brand has grown 40 per cent year on year, and Frank will handle consumer PR around a series of activations to further cement its position. This will include broadening Innis & Gunn’s national reach and positioning them as “credible beer experimentalists”.

Experiential activity has also been planned at the Edinburgh Fringe to play on its oak barrel heritage.

Dougal Sharp, chief executive at Innis & Gunn said: "Frank PR immediately got our brand's unique voice and positioning as well as our vision for the future of the brand. We have some really exciting plans in place for 2015 and we are looking forward to taking Innis & Gunn to the next level with the help of Frank PR and their dedicated team."
