Coffee chain Starbucks is intent on expanding its commercial offering by opening up its venues to fine diners in Stansted Airport in the evening with premium wines and beers and select gourmet meals.

In the newly renovated Stansted Airport store, Starbucks in partnership with food travel company SSP UK, has launched its Evenings Programme in the UK.

The limited launch of the expanded evening menu will be brought to further stores nationwide once the experience is fine-tuned in Stansted. In the US, the scheme is in place in 30 locations in Seattle, Portland, Southern California, Chicago and Atlanta.
