How brands flipped out on Twitter in celebration of #PancakeDay

In anticipation of Shrove Tuesday tomorrow (17 February), major brands and companies took the opportunity to share some #PancakeDay content on Twitter to celebrate the tradition.

With #PancakeDay trending on Twitter today, brands saw the chance to join the social media discourse and generate some buzz.

First up was Samsung with a competition encouraging social media users to submit a photo so their likeness can be forever captured in pancakey goodness.

And finally, Reading & Leeds Festival

Last week Nutella made mouths water with its Pancake Day ad, positioning the brand as the perfect spread to celebrate the occasion.
