Social charity donation platfrom JustGiving has appointed Mark Hodgson to the newly created role of chief commercial officer.
Hodgson, who joins from Google where he ran the Global Partner Program for its Google for Work division, will help accelerate JustGiving’s growing global presence and will have responsibility for developing its crowdfunding platform.
He commented: “I am delighted to be joining JustGiving, whose innovative technology redefines how people, charities and companies go about raising funds for the causes they care about. I am extremely excited by what the future holds for social giving.”
Prior to Google Hodgson spent several years at Microsoft, where he focused on growing its Worldwide Public Sector business. He is a trustee for Bowel Cancer UK and a patron of Words for the Wounded, a charity supporting injured British servicemen and women.
