Real Madrid's Karim Benzema talks to fans using Twitter group DMs in Adidas ‘There Will Be Haters’ stunt
Real Madrid star Karim Benzema has surprised fans by talking to them with Twitter’s new direct message feature in the first instance of it being used as a marketing tool.
The French international was enlisted to promote the Adidas ‘There Will Be Haters’ campaign using Twitter's newly launched group DM feature, introduced last week.
Winners of a Twitter competition got to chat to Benzema earlier today (Friday 5 February).
