Qatar Airways marked the latest phase in its three-year partnerhsip with FC Barcelona with a spot which sees the team travel to the various destinations in the airline’s network.
The new ad was unveiled at a press conference in Doha, Qatar, today (4 February).
Playing out to The Beach Boy's 'I get around', it sees FC Barcelona players such as Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Gerard Piqué, visit global cities like Dallas, Paris and Seoul.
It will be aired in English, Arabic and Catalan.
The ad follows the successful spot the two groups launched in August 2013 which to date has pulled in over 2.2 million views on YouTube.
FC Barcelona was imagined as an island and saw players past and present show “why Qatar Airways and FC Barcelona are a team that unites the world”.
The partnership so far has seen the airline sponsor the FC Barcelona Asia tour, introduce an FC Barcelona branded plane and offer tour and match packages for fans visiting Barcelona.
180 Amsterdam has handled the creative for the campaign since it launched.
