Doc G lays down the law in HTC's hilarious Apple and Samsung rap battle
HTC has released a battle-rap video denigrating smartphone rivals Apple and Samsung featuring ‘Doc G’ from ‘PM Dawn’.
The two and a half-minute video was released on YouTube last week and has been viewed over 15,150 times.
HTC’s original lyric rap took a swipe at Samsung’s Android-based devices and Apple’s iPhones with deep burns such as "Your smartphone scared, they don't wanna clash with a Titan. They saw that M8 debut, they became enlightened,” and “More than a few clowns stole what we originated. We own the universe, your Galaxy is overrated”.
When asked what he did in exchange for the ad on YouTube in the comments section below the video, the ‘Official PM Dawn' channel, presumably with Dog G at the helm, claimed that he received many HTC products for his efforts.
The scene is reminiscent of Samsung’s terrible corporate ethics rap launched last year.
