Mark Read, chief executive (CEO) of WPP Digital, has taken on the role of leading Wunderman which will also see him step down from the parent network’s board.
Taking on the role from 1 February, Read will succeed Daniel Morel as Global CEO of Wunderman. Morel will become a non-executive director of the agency.
Read will also continue his executive responsibilities with WPP as well, it was revealed.

As CEO of WPP Digital, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge in digital technology and its application to marketing services, as well as strong links with our new media partners.”

He was appointed a director of WPP in 2005 having rejoined the network in 2002.
