A limo driver has listed his spacious electric car on AirBnB as an eccentric room for two available for rent and to be chauffeured about in.

The listing, first spotted by Engadget, offers adventurous holiday goers the chance to “experience the amazing Tesla Model S,” adding that “the Tesla will be your ‘Private Room’ but you still get access to a kitchen, TV room & bathroom/shower”.

The accommodation offers access to the owner's kitchen, TV, Wi-Fi and heating for the price of £59 a week with guests granted access to a twin airbed in the back of the vehicle.

The owner does place one restriction upon guests: "Sorry, NO NBA Players allowed. Despite my love for basketball, the Tesla is just too small for anyone over 6' 6". Please... stop asking."

The accommodation is currently based in the owner Steve's garage in Biltmore, Phoenix, who will also transport guests in the electric car.

As a final pitch to seal the deal the listing states: “How often do you get to sleep in a $118,000 Electric Car?”
