How Bradford City celebrated beating Chelsea in the FA Cup on Twitter and Facebook with over 150 social media posts in 12 hours
The football world was stunned by Bradford City’s 2-4 victory in the FA Cup over nine-time winners Chelsea yesterday (25 January), and the Football League One side made full use of its social media channels to celebrate, with over 150 posts in the space of 12 hours across its Facebook page and Twitter.
The club, two divisions below the current Premier League leaders, came back from 2-0 down, away from home, to progress through to the fifth round of the competition, a victory that has been described by BBC’s Match of the Day as the greatest result in the competition’s history already.
The media were quick to congratulate the club, as was Chelsea manager José Mourinho, who according to one tweet by Bradford, even entered the away dressing room after the match to congratulate the victors.

The draw for the Fifth Round of the FA Cup will be broadcast on BBC Two tomorrow night (Monday 27 January) at 7pm.
