Radley & Co chief executive (CEO) Xavier Simonet has resigned from the handbag and accessory brand to return to Australia with his family.

Simonet, who has spent two years at Radley, will leave the company in the next six months and will take up the position of CEO and camping brand Kathmandu in Melbourne.

Simonet commented: “I am very sorry to leave such a great British brand but the pull of Australia was too difficult for me to resist for both myself and my family. I am leaving the company with a strong team in place and a solid growth momentum.”

Radley is now searching for a replacement for Simonet.
