A Pizza Hut Australia spokesperson told News.AU: “The Mitey Stuffed Crust Pizza works unbelievably well with any of our topping combinations and we couldn’t think of a more quintessentially Aussie pizza to launch in time for Australia Day.”
Internationally, pizza delivery firms have had to prove willing to absorb local cuisines into their menus. Pizza Hut rival Domino’s last July launched the spicy banana pizza across India, recognising the fruit’s importance in South Indian cooking.
