President Obama will invite several of YouTube’s top personalities into the White House to forward him fan-submitted questions following his State of the Union address on Tuesday 22 January.

Obama will tap the subscribers of GloZell Green (3,341,869), and vloggers Bethany Mota (8,102,494) and Hank Green (261,614) in the exclusive interviews being broadcast on Thursday 24 January in partnership with YouTube.

The White House released a statement: “We’re inviting a handful of YouTube creators to the White House to talk with the president in person, and you can watch it all live on Thursday, 22 January.

“YouTube creators Bethany Mota, GloZell, and Hank Green will interview President Obama about the issues care they most about and what they’re hearing from their audiences.”

Social media users are also encouraged to submit questions to Potus by using the #YouTubeAsksObama hashtag, where the YouTube personalities will pick the best of the bunch.

Viewers are invited to follow the White House on YouTube where the presidential staff provide daily updates on the comings and goings in the capital.
