Welcome to The Drum's Brand Vine chart, in association with Brands on Vine, a rundown of the latest Vines created by global brands.

The chart is ranked on the number of loops generated by brands on the video sharing service each week.

The Australian Open's Vine channel shot straight into the number one position this week.

The tennis competition's clip of 2015 champion Maria Sharapova receiving a well deserved round of applause on court saw the greatest shift in loop percentage with a rise of 844 per cent.

In second place, Cosmopolitan UK has seen a loop increase of 160 per cent following a Vine which revealed the magazine's feature on honour killings in support of Karmanirvana.org.uk.

Comedy Central took the third spot with a video promoting American sketch comedy Kroll Show, upping its loop count by 142 per cent taking the channel's current total to 2.7m.

Absolute Radio, Ford and Paul Smith also made it into the chart this week.
