Design agency Tangerine has promoted its London-based designer Youngeun Choo to head of its Seoul studio, after former co-president Don tae Lee left the company to join Samsung.

Choo, who has been with the agency for 10 years will utilise her knowledge of both Korean and Western culture to aid Tangerine in its ambition to be a genuine global design house.

Martin Darbyshire, CEO and founder of Tangerine commented: “It is a credit to Young’s dedication and professionalism, managing Tangerine’s Korean clients, that she has now been appointed to head-up our Seoul office. Naturally, we wish Don the best of luck in his new role.”
