Wickes names Iris as lead strategy and creative agency

Home improvement retailer Wickes has named Iris as its new strategy and creative agency following a competitive pitch.

The appointment will see the agency tasked with building a new brand platform for the business in an effort to expand its consumer base within the competitive DIY sector.

Dan Saxby, CEO London said of the win: "The team at Wickes is ambitious and passionate – we shared that ethos from the start. Matthew Gaunt, head of brand communications for Wickes added: “Strategically and creatively, Iris were the right fit for us and we were consistently impressed by the way they approached our brief, and brought our vision to life. We are very excited to be starting this relationship with them.”

Iris succeed MWO in the role whilst Carat retain the media brief and Weber Shandwick remain in charge of PR.
